We generally don’t see this often, but it does happen. In the last decade, there has been an increase in Malware (Malicious Software) that is disguised as another program that you have to install on your computer. You may not notice the problem at first until you start getting pop-ups or computer isn’t working normally. Don’t be alarmed, get your computer to us, and we will remove the Malware and make sure that nothing else was affected. 

We are also seeing more websites with pop-ups saying that you have been infected. The website may look like an Apple website with a phone number. However, Apple will never ask you to call it or tell it that you have been infected. If you call the number on this pop-up, it may ask for payment or control of your computer.
